Winter Carpe: 5500 ft

The team called in last night to report that they descended to 5500 ft. Pascale had a crevasse fall through just below her skis and managed to span it only by the very tip of her ski. Lonnie pulled her on the other end of the rope as she gave a good jump and she came out over it.

They are still a good 4 day ski away from where they will be picked up by Talkeetna Air Taxi.To listen in to the full sat phone call in click the video below:
