We are all set to fly into the Alaska range tomorrow. We have 225 pounds of gear with us for the 20 day project. Mainly food and fuel to keep us warm. Weather outlook calls for pretty good winds with temps around -40F with a 2 day stretch of -50 to -70F windchills. Probably should put some long undies on. We have about 5 days of skiing to get into Mount Carpe.
